First Time Speaking revisited

Well here it is if you want to listen to it. I thought it went rather well, there are always things that you intend to say that never get out before you get in front of a big crowd but I received a lot of positive feedback for my first time.

First Time Speaking at Rock Spring

This weekend will be my first time speaking to the congregation at Rock Spring. I'm going to be talking about "The Standing Army". A brief look into the story about the Israelite army during the David and Goliath story in 1 Samuel 17.
God's given me a good message and I'll be starting off with a clip from "We Were Soldiers".

Welcome!
I'm J.C. Jennings, 31 year old residing in Kearneysville, WV (Just outside of Charles Town).
I'm married with 2 children and I'm the Technology Leader for Rock Spring Church.

I'd like to give a shout out to Terry Storch at Fellowship Church for the inspiration to start blogging. I met Terry this year at the C3 conference in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I got a chance to corner Terry after his presentation at the conference and ask some questions and I've been following his blog ever since.

One of Rock Spring's missions is to use today's Technology as a way to present God's truth, so seeing how blogging can be a means to share what's on your heart and mind, I thought that I'd give this a go.
